CEO of Athlete Intelligence Gary Rubens Talks Head Impact Monitoring with HOF Running Back Rueben Mayes

Gary Rubens, CEO of Athlete Intelligence joins the Bill and Evan Radio show with Chris Franklin, Director of Athletics for Pullman High School and Rueben Mayes, HOF Running Back from Washington State University to discuss the safety and performance value of head-impact monitoring for high-school athletes.

Athlete Intelligence is a leading head-impact monitoring and performance tracking solution using wearable sensors to track the location, count, and severity of impacts sustained during games and practices.  The Athlete Intelligence system takes the data and sends automated reports to coaching and athletic training staff, breaking down the head-impact data and highlighting training opportunities. Teams using the Athlete Intelligence solution use the data to help improve athlete technique, manage head-impact exposure, and reduce the risk of injuries.  Athlete Intelligence helps sports teams play better and more safe through data driven decisions teams can monitor week over week.

In conjunction with Pullman Regional Hospital and their Athletic Training program, they were able to raise necessary funds to purchase the Athlete Intelligence Platform for all football and women’s soccer athletes.
